Meet Sarah
I have been seeking the effective methods of achieving and staying in good health for over half my life.
Suffering with scoliosis helped me find Osteopathy and has since fueled my passion to help others.

My Backstory
A little more about me.
My scoliosis was diagnosed when I was 12 years old and I was told I would have for the rest of my life, unless I got surgery. I was shocked at the time, but now I am very thankful it was found when I was young and that my parents sought alternatives, instead of surgery, to improve my back. In the following years, my parents and I sought out a multitude of ways to improve my condition and health, including other chiropractors, massage therapy, acupuncture, shiatsu, pilates, yoga, and physiotherapy. This is not to say these methods do not work, they definitely do and have done wonderful things for many people. However, in my case, with my particular condition, and at this specific time in my life, it did not work for me. Also in these years, I developed increasingly more debilitating and painful conditions of my back. Typically, I would feel dull aches in my spine and limbs, however, I would intermittently get sharp, stabbing pain in my back that would sometimes hinder my ability to walk, sit, and sometimes even breath.
In 2011, I started going to a gym to strengthen my back and core, and, fortunately, met a personal trainer who was a student at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. I had no idea what Osteopathy was, but I was eager to try anything new that might help. Over the course of the following months to years, I felt more relief of my back pain than I ever thought possible with her treatments. It was at this time that I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and stimulated my passion to help people, like myself, who have been searching for relief of their suffering and for improving their health.
